Thanks to our supporters, many thousands of people, from the tiniest of babies to the oldest in our community benefit each year from the improvements we can make to their care. We help to fund important medical research, buy pioneering equipment, fund the training of staff and improve facilities and the environment in our hospitals.

In order for the Charity to process your donation please specify which department, ward or appeal your donation is for. Where none is specified your generous donation will be used for the benefit of the General Fund.

In Person at Cashiers
It is possible to make a donation in person at South Finance Cashier’s located near the main entrance of the Ipswich Hospital. The South Finance Office is usually open 10am-4pm Monday to Friday, but is closed for lunch between 12.30 – 1pm. You can donate using cash, CAF voucher or cheque at the South Finance Office. Please ensure that you inform the cashier that this is a charitable donation and also the ward or department that it is intended to benefit. If you would prefer to send a donation by cheque or CAF voucher, please make the cheque payable to ‘The Ipswich Hospital Charity’. If your donation is for the benefit of a specific ward, service or appeal please write this additional information either on the back of the cheque or let us know in an accompanying letter.
On A Ward
Ward staff can accept donations and have special donation envelopes for you to place your donation in which they will then pass on to our finance team to bank.
It is possible to make a donation or pay in fundraising monies via BACS payment however please contact the charity team on 01473 702929 requesting a reference number and our bank details.
